The first time I stepped into the National Gallery of Ottawa and came across an authentic 'Cornell Box' my life's meaning became crystal clear. Here was a artist I could finally relate to with no formal training (my case as well) who created something so powerful and intoxicating. a little voice spoke inside and compelled me despite any training, to get cracking. I am forever in debt to Cornell and his vision.
